Flexible Scheduling

With over a decade of teaching experience, I know how frustrating scheduling can be!

Choose between a regular weekly time slot, or schedule one-off appointments when you’re available! Appointment bookings are synced with my calendar, allowing you to find the time that’s best for you and immediately book it. No more back-and-forth about days and times!

We all lead busy lives! To make it a little easier, you can reschedule your appointment up to 12 hours in advance of the lesson!

Let’s say you just can’t get out of the house. No worries! In addition to teaching in-person out of my studio in Moorpark, I also teach online via FaceTime or Zoom.

To get the best contemporary music education, you want someone who’s a professional in the industry!

I graduated Berklee College of Music in 2014 as a Voice Principal, with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production and an emphasis on Video Game Scoring. I’ve been working as a musician and performer for over ten years. Currently, I perform with Totality Entertainment, working with clients such as Downtown Disney, Ovation, Westfield, and many more. I perform seasonally with Keene Music Services, and I’m also a live sound engineer for a cappella concerts and events through ASM Productions. As a performer, I’ve won several awards with different semi-professional and professional groups, such as Top Shelf Vocal, Pitch Slapped, The Overtones; as well as a group I founded, called “Intermission”, which won awards at the A Cappella Open. I perform in local bands and do session singing and voice over for games, such as “Identity V” and “Selling Sunset: the Game” on Netflix.

I’m also a songwriter, with an EP I published on all music platforms in 2024. You can listen to it here:

As per my teaching philosophy, I’ve seen personally how music can change lives! I believe that at the heart of a musician is the soul of a story-teller, and telling a great story should be at the foundation of any music class. I focus on a personalized approach for each student, allowing students to take the reins in the material they’d like to learn. For voice students, I pull in elements of Complete Vocal Technique, Speech Level Singing, Alexander, Bel Canto, and Berklee Vocal Methods. My specialties are in Pop, R&B, Rock, and Musical Theatre; but my own personal philosophy is to learn from as many genres as you can, and I encourage all my students to do the same! For piano students, I like to teach from the Alfred series, John Thompson, Bastien, and even Wunderkeys for the littles. However, I LOVE when students have a book series they really like, and am willing to explore whatever you want to bring in. I can bring in supplemental music skills into traditional performance classes, or even do specialized lessons in subjects like songwriting and production. If you have a goal in mind, I will do everything in my power to help you accomplish it!

  • Currently working on Stripe integration for all major credit cards. Otherwise, Zelle or Venmo works fine!

  • YES! I have two very friendly cats, Mugi and Ahsoka. They are not allowed in the studio to try to keep that as allergen-free as possible. I also keep an air filter right outside the door. However, they have free reign over the rest of the house, so if you have sever allergies, in-home lessons may not be the best option for you.
